A: To use the inverted mode, update your Birdycam with the latest firmware (you would have to use the latest SimpleBGC) and go to "Advanced" tab and check "Frame upside-down auto-detection."After that, restart the Birdycam with inverted position, then inverted mode will be activated.

A: The software of the Birdycam2 should not be updated as long as it works great with its current firmware.

A: To change the battery voltage on the BirdyCam 2 you need to press and hold the button on top of the battery for 5 seconds. Check the voltage if the BirdyCam2 is making any noise. The BirdyCam2 operates with 12v battery power.

A: Yes, the battery for the BirdyCam2 can be used for the BMPCC (Blackmagic Pocket Cinema Camera), Canon, and Sony a7s external battery.

A: You are able to put the Sony a7S and Panasonic GH4 into our Armor cages and on the BirdyCam2 but the Gimbal operates at its best when the setup is light.
